Off with your Head!

I know, sexy right? This is how my make up design for the Queen of Hearts ended up turning out. We were given a time limit and then sent on our merry way.

All I have to say is that I hate eyebrow blocking!!! It's a process that involves smearing every hair with spirit gum, then smearing wax on that, then putting this fixative stuff on, then putting make up on top of that... it's tedious and very icky but, at least it looks super cool.

The nose is a similar process what with the smearing of spirit gum and then shoving putty on top of that but, it seems less icky because you aren't smearing the sticky stuff over hairs... Yep so this took me about an hour and 20 minutes.

I'm excited for next week, we are doing injury stuff for Halloween!

Conforming

Well, I'm decided to conform with the rest of the crafting world and get a blog *sigh*. Pssh, I'm just being over dramatic. I think a blog will be fun.

I've had lots of big steps on the internet lately. I was accepted to Lollishops and have started a guild page over there. And, big news, Elliot (boyfriend-type creature) helped me get a website started... I'm not going to post it up here just yet because I haven't bought my own domain name yet so I'm just mooching his. Mr. and Mrs. B (my high school drama directors/substitute mom and dad) are coming into town today! Yay! I'm super excited to see them ^_^

I have a major American Sign Language Midterm in about 45 minutes so I'm going to go study my brains out for that one. And after that I'm going to be making myself look like the Queen of Hearts for Makeup... expect some sweet pictures.
